Igniting Your Purpose

My journey through discovery began in 2016 and accelerated in 2019 when I began to awaken my consciousness and lean into my true self after experiencing exponential change and tragedies. This path drew me to consume many books on spirituality, mindfulness, purpose and living life by choice.  Through these teachings I surrounded myself with individuals who were interested in sharing their wisdom and guidance to continue to grow allowing me to connect with who I was always meant to be.

Below are 6 areas of focus I now incorporate into my life in support of living in the present, increasing mindfulness and peace, and connecting to a higher self.

1.       Practice Gratefulness

  •   Daily journal or text

  • Speak words of gratefulness

  • Be kind to everyone and everything

2.      Feed a Healthy Mind

  • Limit or remove destructive social media influences

  • ·Read or listen to books on faith/awareness/purpose

  • Connect with others who champion and support you

3.      Uncover Conscious Awareness

  • Connect thoughts with emotions and be present

  • Identify your own true choices

  • Meditate, practice Reiki, yoga, Qi Gong, etc.

4.      Check Your Language

  • Speak truth to power without apology

  • Challenge negative thoughts and limiting beliefs

  • Practice non-judgment of self and others

5.      Look Beyond Self

  • Orient thoughts and actions towards others

  • Check your ego at the door

  • Look for signs and meaning greater than yourself

6.     Feed Your Soul

  • Physically

  • Spiritually

  • Mentally & Emotionally
