Meet Carolyn - Healing Practitioner and Holistic Coach

Cancer. It is a word no one wants to hear, yet it became part of my story in 2020.  It deepened a path I had already begun in 2017, when I felt called to leave a 25-year career in search of more meaningful, holistic work.

I took a leap of faith, became a life coach, and began exploring mindset and energy healing - awakening a deep awareness of my own intuitive gifts. A transformative time in Arizona, immersed in nature, movement, and meditation, sparked a profound spiritual shift.

The next two years brought immense challenges - losses that included the death of both my parents, my brother Michael’s stroke, my brother Ron’s heart attack, and my brother John’s suicide. These losses forced me to face unresolved grief from the loss of my first-born son, Ian, in 1998. By embracing energy healing, I began to release long-buried trauma rooted in fear, sadness, and anger.

When I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2020, the connection between mind, body, and spirit became undeniable. This led me to question long-held beliefs about health and healing, explore natural alternatives, and adopt practices like Reiki, meditation, and gratitude into my daily routine.

The journey taught me to surrender control and trust the flow of life - guiding me to Florida, where I found the community I had been seeking.

A Life of Purpose

Ocean Sands Wellness was born from a deep calling to create a space for true healing - where the body, mind, and spirit feel safe and honored. What began as a broader wellness offering has naturally evolved alongside my own journey.

Over time, I found myself drawn more deeply into the subtle, powerful work of craniosacral therapy and energy healing. These modalities became the foundation of my practice - supporting the nervous system, releasing stored trauma, and creating space for the body’s innate wisdom to lead.

Today, Ocean Sands Wellness reflects this refined focus. My work is centered on gentle, intuitive therapies that invite profound rest, regulation, and restoration - meeting every client where they are and supporting healing from within.
